We’re Deepak and Kritika — both born into Indian families and raised in Ireland. Growing up, we lived between two worlds: the colour and tradition of Indian culture, and the charm and elegance of Irish life. And we loved both.
With years of hands-on experience in event management and wedding styling, we found ourselves constantly helping friends and family plan Desi celebrations that felt both personal and culturally rich — from mehndi nights full of colour and music, to mandap ceremonies in Irish country houses. That’s when we realised: there was a real need for someone who truly understands both cultures.
And so, Irish Desi Weddings was born.
We created this business to help couples celebrate their love story — whether it’s rooted in India, Ireland, or both. From authentic Indian décor and dhol-fuelled sangeets, to outdoor catering, bridal mehndi, and on-the-day coordination, we take care of every detail, just as we would for our own family.
